ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Storyteller at Heart
Even as a young child I was always conjuring up stories and filling them with colorful characters, sharing them with anyone and everyone who would listen.
(I think that's why I found moderate success in the field of babysitting. Parents would have been horrified at the bedtime stories I would spin for my young wards.) Ying and yang, light and dark: I've always alternated between sunny, happy tales and others that are quite dark, sometimes even sinister. As a creative soul, the sunny is what I prefer. It helps me share laughter, to show children (and adults) how being a kind person is a fantastic trait and an honorable quality to pursue, and to wonder at the simple joys of life. I delight in using my sometimes odd way of thinking and my illustrations to bring my stories to life in engaging and entertaining ways.
